Anthology Senior Living Expanding to Washington State

DENVER, CO—Anthology Senior Living is excited to announce the development of its first independent living-focused senior living community in Edmonds, Washington. The community includes a total of 127 independent living residences, available in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations. Anthology is rapidly expanding across the United States—this project marks the sixth senior housing development that Anthology has started in the past 12 months.

Anthology of Edmonds, located in the established and affluent coastal town of Edmonds, Washington, will exclusively offer Anthology’s signature independent senior living. The 162,872 square foot six-story community will feature a modern and contemporary design, complete with high-quality finishes and underground parking.

The on-site amenities are designed to promote an engaging, active and social lifestyle and will include a salon and barbershop, multiple dining venues to enjoy gourmet meals, a fitness center, a theater, a central courtyard with barbecue grills and a bar/bistro. The community will also feature a sixth-floor terrace that opens from the theater.

Anthology Senior Living has partnered with Harrison Street (one of the leading investment management firms exclusively focused on alternative real assets) once again to develop Anthology of Edmonds. Anthology has worked closely with Harrison Street in the past to develop some of their most recent communities.

According to a recent report by the U.S. Census Bureau, almost 15% of the Snohomish County population has already reached age 65 (or older)—and that percentage will continue to climb as baby boomers age. This community will provide more options and amenities, as well as meet the changing desires of the newest generation of seniors.

Anthology of Edmonds, located at 21200 72nd Ave. West, is expected to open late 2023.
