Cedarhurst of Crown Point Nears Completion

CROWN POINT, IN — Cedarhurst of Crown Point, the newest addition to the Cedarhurst Senior Living family, is set to welcome its first residents in January 2026. Located 50 miles southeast of Chicago and fewer than 20 miles from the southern tip of Lake Michigan, this senior living community will offer a full range of assisted living and memory care services.

The two-story Cedarhurst of Crown Point spans 72,000 square feet on approximately 20 acres of land and features 59 assisted living apartments and 24 memory care suites.  The community will offer an array of amenities, including:

• Accessible cabinets and countertops at mobility-friendly heights — creating an environment where seniors can feel at home and comfortably age in place.
• A dedicated fitness center, yoga studio, and wellness programs tailored to promote physical health and active lifestyles, complemented by onsite physical, occupational, and speech therapy services designed to help residents maintain or improve mobility and independence.
• Gourmet dining experiences through the Crafted by Cedarhurst culinary program.
• A calendar of events, social activities, and outings designed to foster connections and stimulate cognitive engagement.
• Rooted in Living TRUE, Cedarhurst’s care services are tailored to individual needs.
• Lush landscapes, outdoor seating areas, and tranquil spaces.

When fully staffed, the community will employ approximately 60 team members — about 35 full-time and 25 part-time positions — spanning healthcare, hospitality, dining, and life enrichment roles.

Cedarhurst of Crown Point is expected to open its doors to residents in January 2026.
