Civitas Senior Living, LKP Ventures Break Ground on Harvest of Roanoke, Add Senior Living to Industries Investing in Bustling Texas 114 Corridor

May 10, 2019

FORT WORTH, TX–Civitas Senior Living and LKP Ventures have broken ground on Harvest of Roanoke—a new, boutique senior living community along the Texas 114 corridor. This project marks the first senior living community to be developed in the Roanoke area.

“We are looking forward to serving seniors and their loved ones in Roanoke and the surrounding areas with our passion-based senior living concept,” said Wayne Powell, Founder and CEO of Civitas. “It’s a great location, and the prospect of contributing to such a dynamic, growing community is exciting.” The ongoing expansive growth within the Texas 114 corridor was definitely a factor in choosing the location, he said.

Harvest of Roanoke will be conveniently located on 5.25 acres along SH 114 between SH 170 and U.S. 377 just outside the Country Acres Estates neighborhood, which is adjacent to The Highlands at Trophy Club neighborhood. The community will feature 67 premier assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a 67,000-square-foot community inspired by the area’s local roots and small-town charm.

“We love the down-home, friendly ambiance of Roanoke,” said Narayan Patel of LKP Ventures. “It’s the perfect setting for the kind of warm hospitality we want to offer our residents.” The community’s location just over a mile from restaurant row in the “Unique Dining Capital of Texas” is an added bonus. “Between our passion for hospitality and Civitas’ unique dining experience, it really is the perfect location. We believe these combined factors create a recipe for success,” Patel said.

Patel is referencing Civitas Senior Living’s My Food program, which features restaurant-style dining and facilitates a working relationship between the chef and the residents to create a dynamic, delicious, custom menu unique to their community. Residents will also be able to enjoy Roanoke’s unique dining experiences through scheduled outings.

Harvest of Roanoke is scheduled to welcome residents Fall 2020 and will bring approximately 60 jobs to the area economy. Arrive Architects, Senior by Design, and Ridgemont Commercial Construction are also contributing to the project.

LKP Ventures is a third-generation family enterprise focused on real estate investment, development, and acquisitions.
