Edgemere Announces Change of Ownership and Management

DALLAS, TX – Edgemere announced the official confirmation of change of ownership and management in the coming weeks. The community will be purchased by Bay 9 Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Lapis Advisers LP, a San Francisco based organization that is committed to supporting the capital needs of the community and re-establishing the level of service excellence of the Edgemere brand. Long Hill at Edgemere LLC (Long Hill) has been named manager of the property. Long Hill, a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Methodist Homes (UMH), a mission-based, not for-profit organization that has been serving seniors since 1874, brings a depth of experience not only in senior living, hospitality, customer service, and life enrichment, but also clinical expertise to help residents successfully age within the continuum of care and services offered at Edgemere.
The collective vision of the new team is guided by Long Hill’s commitment to relationship-centered living and care approaches, according to a release. At its core, this is the belief that forming and maintaining healthy relationships is essential for optimal well-being. To do this, Long Hill looks at resident life and the employee experience through the lens of relationship cultivation, ultimately enriching the lives of residents who call our communities home, and empowering employees who choose to work in the communities they serve.

Now the risk is gone and the new management company, Long Hill, has committed to bettering what is already a marvelous place to live.
