EPOCH Senior Living has named Julie Lombardo, MSN, RN, as Vice President of Wellness Services. The nationally recognized senior living provider offers the continuum of senior care services including independent living, assisted living and memory care in its 16 communities located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and New York.

In her position, Lombardo is responsible for managing and coordinating EPOCH’s clinical outcomes, policies, and procedures. In addition, she’ll develop and implement education and training of the senior living providers’ team members while conducting peer reviews that ensure quality of care and regulatory compliance.

“We’re excited to welcome Lombardo to the EPOCH team,” says Joanna Cormac Burt, Chief Operating Officer. “She has an incredible background in infection control and prevention and offers exceptional experience and leadership skills necessary to effectively guide our clinical services teams.”

Prior to joining the EPOCH team, Lombardo held many leadership roles. Most recently, she oversaw the care delivery and operations of 10 stand-alone memory care communities. Her experience focused on rebuilding and developing memory care programming during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m excited and proud to have the opportunity to work alongside such an amazing team of professionals at EPOCH Senior Living,” said Lombardo. “EPOCH truly cares for residents and their families they serve. I look forward to maintaining the highest standards of care and protocol compliance for our communities. Ultimately, it’s important that we provide the safest and most efficient personalized care to support each resident and their family.”

Lombardo received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Framingham State University and is also a licensed registered nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
