September 30, 2026

HANOVER, N.H. — Kendal at Hanover has named Keith Grady its next chief executive officer, effective Nov. 2. He will succeed Beth Vettori, who concluded her service as CEO on Sept. 11 after more than eight years in the role.

Grady brings more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit senior living, including more than 12 years as executive director of Applewood Village, a continuing care retirement community in New Jersey and a FellowshipLIFE community. At Applewood Village, he oversaw the community’s vision, strategy and operations, including development of its first master plan and a subsequent repositioning of the community.

“We are excited to welcome Keith to Kendal at Hanover and look forward to the leadership, experience and perspective he will bring to our community,” said Bob Kline-Schoder, chair of the Kendal at Hanover Board of Directors. “His extensive background in nonprofit senior living gives us confidence that he is well prepared to build on the existing strong foundation and help guide Kendal at Hanover into the future.”

Grady holds a bachelor’s degree in health care management from American InterContinental University and is pursuing a master’s degree in gerontology from the University of Massachusetts. He serves on the Board of Trustees of LeadingAge New Jersey & Delaware, chairs its Leaders of Color Network and serves as vice chair of LeadingAge National Leaders of Color.

“I am deeply honored to have been selected as the next CEO of Kendal at Hanover,” Grady said. “In both my professional and personal lives, I have been mindful every day of the responsibility we carry to care for others and the impact we have on the environment we share.”

Kendal at Hanover is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Hanover with about 400 residents and is part of the Kendal System.
