Knute Nelson | Walker Methodist Announces Key Leadership Promotions And Appointments

MINNETONKA, MN — Knute Nelson | Walker Methodist has announced in a press release the promotion and appointment of three key leaders.

Katie Perry

After nearly two decades with the organization, Chief Operations Officer Katie Perry has added executive vice president stripes to her title. In her new role, Perry develops and supports high-performing teams and all operations of the organization. She also oversees the execution of all sales, quality, and operating divisions, including senior living, home and community-based services, population health, rehabilitation, and wellness.

Samantha Beckman

Samantha Beckman has been promoted to senior vice president/chief marketing and transformation officer from her role as vice president of marketing and digital transformation. She is responsible for the oversight of the marketing and communications teams while also developing ways to modernize service delivery for the organization and ensure they are adapting to ever-changing consumer behaviors and technological advancements. She has been with the organization since 2016.

Jamie Loken

Jamie Loken has been hired as senior vice president/chief information officer. His 27-year career has centered around technology and a passion for transformation and scalability. He leads efforts to optimize and align the digital ecosystem and digital strategies and with Knute Nelson | Walker Methodist’s business objectives.

“As our organization grows and transforms, we must prioritize delivering the best experiences for those we serve,” said President/CEO Mark Anderson. “These three leaders will help us realize our mission to enrich, empower, and elevate people through life’s journey.”

Knute Nelson merged with Walker Methodist in January of this year, and Perry, Beckman, and Loken will also be tasked with helping to integrate the cultures, teams, and systems of the two organizations, including the development and launch of a new name, brand, and strategic plan.

Their extensive portfolio consists of 34 housing communities, and a continuum of care that includes home health care, wellness, a therapy continuum, assisted living, memory care, hospice care, and population health. Annually, they serve more than 11,500 people with over 2,100 team members.
