Monarch Communities Appoints Executive Director for New Rochelle, New York Community

Paul Ataide has been named executive director for Monarch Coopers Corner, a senior living community in New Rochelle, NY that is nearing completion; it is scheduled to open early this year. In this position, he will be responsible for the day-to-day community operations.

Ataide was previously the executive director at a senior living community in Westchester County, NY. He has also served as an associate executive director in senior living in Massachusetts. He brings over 15 years of health care experience to his new position.

Monarch Coopers Corner is the first senior living community in Westchester County to seek WELL certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). WELL is grounded in research about the health effects of physical spaces on people.

The community—located at 11 Mill Rd., New Rochelle—is developed and managed by Monarch Communities, which operates and develops senior living communities along the East Coast.
