DENVER, CO — Co-developers MorningStar Senior Living, a fully integrated developer, owner and operator of retirement communities, and Edgemark Development LLC, a national developer and owner of senior multifamily and affordable housing, have announced in a press release the grand opening of MorningStar at Holly Park, an IL/AL/MC community in the Denver suburb of Centennial, Colorado.

MorningStar at Holly Park features 160 residences in a four-story luxury residential building. The three-acre senior living community represents the development partners’ first venture together. To celebrate the grand opening, the project partners hosted an inaugural reception at the property with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by MorningStar founder/CEO Ken Jaeger. The community includes an indoor pool along with a fitness and therapy center, a choice of dining venues, several private courtyards, and a rooftop club room and terrace with striking city and mountain views.

“We’re pleased to open our second community in Centennial and our 13th in the state,” said Jaeger. “Across our 21-year history, we continue to establish the MorningStar brand in fast-growing regions in step with the expanding need for quality senior living, responsive to the desire of seniors to stay in their neighborhood, close to family and friends and the attractions they’ve come to enjoy. MorningStar presents state-of-the-art communities in all the new markets we enter, offering first-class amenities and resort-style living to local residents.”

MorningStar and Edgemark co-developed and will own the community.

“We are proud to develop and own Holly Park with MorningStar, who we regard as a best-in-class senior living developer and operator,” said Aaron Metz, managing principal at Edgemark Development. “This project combines the highest quality of care with beautiful and functional design focused on dignity, wellness and community.”
