Kelly Stranburg has joined Westminster Communities of Florida as vice president of healthy aging and longevity. Stranburg is the founder/CEO of Excellence in Wellness, and the host of podcast Live Better, Longer. Most recently she had been serving as an Account Executive at FullCount.
Kisco Senior Living has announced in a press release the appointment of Alphonso Westley II as general manager of The Fitzgerald of Palisades, a Kisco Signature community set to open in early 2025.
Heron’s Key, a resort-style continuing care retirement community located in Gig Harbor, Washington, has named Denise Cooksey its new human resources director. Cooksey comes to Heron’s Key with more than two decades of human resources management experience, most recently as a senior benefits account manager. She is certified by both the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Juniper Communities has announced the appointment of Sherri Dillard, LPN, as director of wellness (DOW) at Juniper Village at South Hills. Prior to Juniper, Dillard worked as an agency nurse until finding her home in senior living, primarily in skilled and geriatric nursing facilities.
Mallory Lord is the new executive director of Benchmark at Rye, a Mind & Memory Care community. She replaces Nick Barash, who was promoted to regional director of operations for Benchmark Senior Living. Lord has over 15 years of property management experience, most recently as a regional property manager for New York-based Panco Management.
