ON THE MOVE: Recent Personnel Moves in Senior Living

The Residence at Westport, an independent-living, assisted-living, and memory-care community in Westport, Connecticut, has announced Addie Ricci as the new executive director. She brings 16 years of experience working in the senior living industry to her new role; she has also served as an ED at Bridges by EPOCH.
Veronica Wainwright, LVN, has been named director of wellness at Juniper Village at Preston Hollow in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining Juniper, she worked at a memory care facility where she served as the DOW for two years.
The Residence at Vinnin Square, an independent-living, assisted-living, and memory-care community in Swampscott, Massachusetts, has hired Andrew Gillis as its new executive director. Gillis brings 30 years of healthcare experience in skilled nursing, assisted living and hospice, including as president/COO for Bluepoint Healthcare.
Tyler Funa, MBA, NHA, PCHA, has been appointed executive director at Juniper Village at South Hills in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has previously served as executive director at Independence Court of Monroeville and at Paramount Senior Living.
Kendal at Ithaca, a values-based senior living community in New York’s Finger Lakes region, has announced the addition of Justina Fetterly, Joe Mareane, and Sonia Rucker to its Board of Trustees. Fetterly, whose expertise is public relations, currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America; Mareane’s career in local government gives him a deep understanding of public administration and fiscal management; and Rucker joins the board with a rich history in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives (she’s currently Associate Vice-President of Inclusion and Belonging and Presidential Advisory for Diversity and Equity at Cornell University).
Taletha Sims has been named executive director at Prestonwood Court in Plano, Texas. Sims has previously served as a registered nurse, along with roles as a nurse supervisor, director of nursing, and regional executive director.
