FORT WAYNE, IN — Priority Life Care has partnered with August Health to transform the move-in experience for new residents and their families.

“Our partnership with August Health marks a significant step forward in streamlining the admission process,” stated Priority Life Care CEO Severine Petras in a press release. “The digitization of our comprehensive admission agreements provides residents, families, and staff with a smooth and efficient solution that conserves precious time and resources. This cutting-edge technology will also lighten the workload for our staff, allowing them to dedicate more time to our residents.”

“Priority Life Care is committed to continuing to innovate and finding ways to improve the lives of its residents,” said August Health Co-Founder Justin Schram, MD. “The move-in experience sets the stage for a positive resident care journey. The days of the cumbersome 100-page paper packets are behind us. We’re excited to simplify the process for everyone and refocus attention on caring for the resident.”

By adopting paperless move-ins, Priority Life Care is accelerating the resident onboarding process and saving staff valuable time. Moreover, it is the next step in Priority Life Care’s goal to integrate information sharing throughout its various vender-supported programs.

Priority Life Care has already implemented paperless move-ins at 42 of its communities and it will continue to roll out the software across the country.

Family owned and operated since 2010, Priority Life Care’s nearly 60 communities have a mission of lighting the way through supporting independence. In addition to its dedication to embracing advanced technology, PLC aims to empower its staff to provide better support for its residents, offer them a wider range of choices, and ultimately, facilitate a more active lifestyle.
