Spectrum Rebrands to Tandem Senior Living Advisors
After 43 years as a leading advisor to senior living communities, Spectrum Consultants is doing what it does well for its clients: rebranding.
The rebrand comes with a new name, Tandem Senior Living Advisors. The genesis of the new moniker is Executive Creative Director David Caudle’s creation as it illustrates what the company has been doing since 1978 – partnering with other like-minded companies and senior living advocates. This collaboration has helped Tandem Senior Living Advisors gain success and results for its clients and the senior living communities it serves.
Both Caudle and Tandem Senior Living Advisors President Hoppy Sell sum it up like this: “We deem partnership as critical to collaborative success and operate as specialized counterparts to our clients.” Caudle adds, “Success hinges on the manner in which we work with our clients. We crave relationship- based engagements and recognize that our best work flows when we rhythmically apply our industry knowledge. Working in tandem is key.”
The rebranding and new name come at the right time as Tandem Senior Living Advisors aligns its April acquisition of Holleran Consulting, a national community engagement research and consulting firm specializing in resident and employee surveys for senior living, while embracing the future of senior living. The Holleran name and core business will remain intact.
Tandem Senior Living Advisors partners with clients to market and brand their communities and meet the needs of the ever-growing senior population. Tandem is currently working with 29 clients across 11 states from start-up to expansion, rebranding to repositioning and improving existing occupancy.
To support the new brand, Tandem Senior Living Advisors designers created a new logo, branded marketing materials including trade show graphics, and launched a new website – tandem78.com – that pays homage to its founding year. They also updated social channels to showcase their work with some of the top senior living providers in the country.
“Our company has always aimed to strengthen community and enrich the lives of those we serve,” said Mike Wallace, CEO of Tandem Senior Living Advisors when the Holleran acquisition was announced. “That focus has continued and is even more critical today. We work hard to ensure our clients and their communities are achieving success and getting their stories out in the marketplace.”
The past three years have brought a lot of growth and change to the Gastonia-based company.
New ownership in 2018 has CEO Mike Wallace, President Hoppy Sell and CFO/COO Greg Sellers leading the company. In 2019, the partners joined forces with David Caudle and established a Creative Services division and opened an office in Winston-Salem. Caudle, a senior living industry veteran, soon hired Tracy Sainte Marie as senior art director, allowing them to rekindle a successful working relationship steeped in digital and traditional communications for Life Plan Communities. Today, the Creative Services team has seven members orchestrating sophisticated communication strategies alongside their colleagues and for their clients. The Holleran acquisition and rebranding round out the company’s moves in 2021.
Tandem Senior Living Advisors is well positioned for 2022 and beyond as it looks to the future and Sell is excited for the potential.
“We’re invested in senior living and have been since 1978. We all feel like the industry continues to evolve and that is both exciting and fulfilling to us as we transform with it and for it,” he said.
