Spring Harbor Opens The Blue Heron Bar and Grill

COLUMBUS, GA — What started as a vision for an upscale, casual dining venue in May of 2020 by the Spring Harbor Foundation Board, is now a reality. Through a partnership with Spring Harbor at Green Island, The Blue Heron Bar and Grill has opened its doors.

The Blue Heron Bar and Grill, the largest capital project in Spring Harbor’s history, is nestled on the third floor of Spring Harbor’s main common area. This redesigned space includes expanded square footage, a full-service bar, tailored design choices, comfortable seating and a fully stocked kitchen. Outside boasts a brand-new covered gathering space with its own kitchen and grill overlooking a manicured putting green, shuffleboard court, stone fireplace, and a courtyard fountain.

Spring Harbor partnered with River City Contracting, Hecht Burdeshaw Architects, and New York-based Thomas Puckett Designs. Spring Harbor also partners with Forefront Healthcare, which provides culinary services; Spring Harbor is their Southeast Center of Excellence Community.

Spring Harbor is the first and only nonprofit life-plan community in the Columbus, Georgia, area.
