SRI Management Promotes Shelley Kaiser to Chief Operating Officer

January 24, 2019

TALLAHASSEE, FL–SRI Management LLC, one of the fastest growing privately held management companies in the Southeast, proudly announces the internal promotion of Shelley Kaiser to chief operating officer.

Having worked with SRI Management for nearly a decade, most recently as a senior vice president of operations, coupled with her past tenure as senior living community executive director and divisional director, Kaiser brings a unique value set of experience. In her new position, Kaiser will monitor communities for potential opportunities and problems, strategize with division teams to offset deficiencies and maximize revenues, and queue the direction of the corporate sales force to provide tactical support to communities.

“Since coming to SRI Management in 2010, Shelley has epitomized the core values of our company, overseeing our communities with the care and diligence of an owner,” said Don Bishop, CEO, SRI Management. “With her at the helm of our operations team, Shelley will guide all operational divisions of the company to ensure singularity of message, policy, accountability and support, ultimately ensuring our business runs efficiently, effectively and financially profitably for both owner and resident satisfaction.”

Kaiser’s promotion is a continuation of a strategic evolution SRI Management unveiled in the last quarter of 2018, designed to support SRI’s growth in the year ahead. With Kaiser serving as COO, SRI is poised to develop and manage senior housing communities as a higher-touch, results-oriented operator touting signature core values of character, compassion and commitment.

“My first position as an assistant executive director developed my affinity for our aging population,” said Kaiser. “I’m invigorated by the opportunities our industry has to create real change in the stigma of assisted living. I envision great opportunities in our communities in the very near future – we already have much on the drawing boards. Imagine iPads in residences for food delivery orders and communications with service and care associates, sensory environments designed for experiential enhancement and new activity programming, suited to a healthier and longer living boomer generation. The future is certainly exciting, and SRI Management is leading the charge to enact change.”

Since its inception in 2000, SRI’s leadership has consistently sought to be in the forefront of changes in the industry and forging strong relationships with owners. Each SRI-managed property seeks to achieve optimal results in all areas of operations, including resident care, associate satisfaction and retention, and financial performance. The company currently manages 23 (including five properties currently under construction) independent living, assisted living, enhanced assisted living and memory care communities, encompassing more than 2,200 units, with operating revenues exceeding $50-million, annually.
