Stoneridge Creek Campus Expansion Completed

October 31, 2018

PLEASANTON, CA–A two-year expansion project at Stoneridge Creek senior living community has been completed. The new construction at the community, located at 3300 Stoneridge Creek Way in Pleasanton, includes the addition of 12 villas (single-story homes), 56 Garden Terrace homes and 83 apartment homes, a multi-use Pavilion, a new dining venue and an outdoor heated lagoon-style pool.

Yesterday, the community held walking tours to give future Stoneridge Creek residents an opportunity to see the new amenities and features and will offer tours again on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

The expansion aimed to meet the growing demand for senior living options in the area. Currently, more than 200,000 Alameda County residents are 65 years or older and that number is expected to grow substantially within the next 10 years with the aging of Baby Boomers.

“We’re proud to be a part of the Pleasanton community, and to call the Bay Area home for the past five years,” said Zeke Griffin, executive director for Stoneridge Creek. “It’s an exciting time for Stoneridge Creek to grow our mission, serve more seniors, and help provide them and their families a secure future.”

Stoneridge Creek, a Life Plan community, opened its doors in 2013 to much demand. The 50-acre campus is currently home to more than 750 seniors. The CreekView Health Center is located adjacent to Stoneridge Creek, offering residents access to long-term care services, if ever needed.

Stoneridge Creek residents enjoy the services and amenities of the community, including a movie theater, dog park, putting green, bocce ball court, indoor swimming pool, fitness center and spa, and business center. Along with new housing options for seniors at Stoneridge Creek, the expansion features a heated lagoon-style pool, new fitness studio, pickleball court, a second dog park, croquet court, and a creek with a waterfall feature.

“Residents have waited years to move into this second phase of the community, and we’re thrilled to have it fully completed,” said Griffin. “Stoneridge Creek brings together all the elements to maximize independence and provide life-enriching services and wellness for seniors living in the Bay Area.”
