The Capstone at Centerra Senior Living Names Sales and Marketing Director

LOVELAND, CO—The Capstone at Centerra Senior Living, an Integral Senior Living community that specializes in assisted living, memory care and respite care services, has named Shannon Barker as its director of sales and marketing.

“Shannon’s remarkable experience in senior living community management will allow The Capstone at Centerra to continue creating an environment of quality care for each of its residents,” said Jeffery Smith, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Integral Senior Living. “Her ability to create a sense of community among not only the staff, but also the residents, is inspiring and is sure to lead to creating a community residents can be proud to call home.”

Prior to joining The Capstone at Centerra team, Barker was the executive director of three separate senior living communities in Lakewood, CO, Rio Rancho, NM, and Colorado Springs, CO. She oversaw day-to-day operations and instilled a team structure that promoted positivity and open communication across the continuum of care to ensure premium resident well-being.

Barker’s 29 years of experience in senior living operations, financial management and nursing allows her to continuously exceed targets in the sales and marketing field. In addition to her experience at senior living communities, Barker has a background in medical billing, where she modernized operational procedures to increase efficiency and improve the financial results of the company.
