Vitality Living Expands with Portfolio Acquisition
Winterpast Capital Partners (WCP) and its operating partner, Vitality Living, announced the acquisition of 10 senior living communities across the southeast through a joint venture with Sculptor Real Estate. WCP is an opportunistic real estate investment platform that is active in the senior living acquisition and development space. Vitality Living is a Tennessee-based senior living provider committed to empowering successful aging through engagement and innovation.
The acquired communities in Florida, Kentucky and Alabama add over 500 team members and 1,300 residents to the Vitality Living portfolio.
“We’re proud to bring ten more communities into the Vitality family,” said Chris Guay, CEO & Founder of Vitality Living. “I’m thankful for the support of our partners and our team for executing this transition seamlessly and with the utmost care for our new residents and their families.”
All the communities are well-established with strong traditions of longevity of staff. In one community, in particular, Lake Forest in Sanford, Florida, 22 team members celebrated their 10-year anniversaries at the community last month.
“These communities really feel like home. They’re warm and close-knit and offer great opportunities for residents to engage in activities, lead vibrant lives, and love where they live,” said Guay.
With this 10-community acquisition taking place late last year, 2021 became WCP-Vitality’s most active acquisition year to date.
