Waltonwood Lead Mine Senior Living Community in Raleigh is complete

RALEIGH, N.C. — Singh Development said Waltonwood Lead Mine, a new assisted living and memory care community at 4510 Lead Mine Road, is complete and welcoming residents.
Designed by Cline, an integrated architecture and design firm founded in 1989 with offices in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina; Austin, Texas; and Washington, D.C., the community includes 100 units, with 30 units dedicated to memory care, according to the developer. The five-acre site is near shopping, dining and medical services.
“Bringing this vision to life has been a rewarding experience, made even more meaningful through collaboration with an outstanding team of architects, interior designers, engineers, and contractors,” said Todd J. Rankine, director of architecture and planning at Singh Development.
Amenities include an interior courtyard and a top-floor outdoor terrace programmed for activities and relaxation. The companies said the design also includes integrated business and utility areas to ensure efficient daily operations. All-surface parking is available for residents, staff and visitors.

Project partners include Choate Construction as builder; Lighthouse Engineering (MEP); and Hauser and Creech as structural engineer. Cline provided architecture, interior design and furniture procurement services, according to a news release.
Singh, a family-owned real estate developer with headquarters in West Bloomfield, Michigan, and Cary, North Carolina, has developed senior living communities for more than 30 years under the Waltonwood brand, the company said. Waltonwood Senior Living offers independent living, assisted living and memory care in Michigan, North Carolina and Virginia.
