Wesley Homes Announces Three New Hires: McNamara Now VP of Operations; Klotz ED of Wesley Des Moines; Pajinag ED of Health & Home Care

KENT, WA — Wesley Homes, a nonprofit offering senior housing and care services in the Puget Sound region, has announced three new hires in separate press releases.

Kevin McNamara is the company’s new vice president of operations. With more than 20 years of senior living and health services experience, he oversees the day-to-day operations of Wesley’s senior living communities.

“I am excited to be a part of the growth happening at Wesley,” said McNamara. “I look forward to collaborating with each community to share ideas and best practices and providing operational support. I will help maximize the onsite teams’ mission of providing the best living experience for residents with continued care in each community’s setting.”

Ken Klotz

Ken Klotz, a 20-year senior living and memory care veteran, is now executive director at Wesley Des Moines. Klotz provides strategic direction, leadership, and management oversight of resident services, care delivery, and the structures of the retirement community.

“I look forward to contributing to establishing a seamless connection between Wesley’s Catered Living services, skilled-nursing center, and assisted-living memory care,” said Klotz. “It’s important to me that our long-term residents can utilize Wesley’s comprehensive suite of services, ensuring each resident’s unique needs are addressed.”

Wesley Des Moines, a 42-acre community located halfway between Seattle and Tacoma, offers independent-living cottage homes and apartments, Catered Living supportive services, memory care, and a rehabilitation and skilled-nursing center. Celebrating its 80th anniversary, Wesley Des Moines has welcomed generations of families who have enjoyed Wesley’s amenities, lifestyle options, and supportive services, including home care, rehabilitative therapies, and long-term care.

Also, Kelly Pajinag has joined the company as the executive director of Wesley Health & Home Care. Pajinag is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, staffing, and controlling resources. Under the Health & Home Care umbrella, he oversees Wesley Homes Community Health Services, Wesley Homes at Home, Wesley Hospice, and Wesley Palliative Care.

“Wesley’s culture is exceptional, and I am excited to be a part of their growth, quality, and service,” Pajinag said. “My goal is to strengthen the continuum of care by enhancing the growth and visibility of our in-home services and making Wesley the provider of choice for home- and community-based services. We want to bring our services to clients in their homes where they can be cared for where they want and where they can thrive within their home environment.”

Wesley Health & Home Care provides in-home care in King and Pierce counties. Licensed professionals deliver skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, personal care assistance, home health aide services, geriatric care management, hospice, and palliative care.

Founded in 1944 and now celebrating its 80th anniversary, Wesley is a faith-based, nonprofit organization offering lifestyle options for aging-well. The organization has four Puget Sound residential communities: Wesley Des Moines, Wesley Lea Hill, Wesley Bradley Park, and Wesley at Tehaleh. Its continuum of care also includes home health, home care, and hospice services.
