Westgate Hills Partners Announces New Partnership for New, In-Facility Offering

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Baltimore has introduced in-facility palliative care services under the direction of AccentCare, formerly Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. Located at 10 North Rock Glen Road, the 120-bed skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
Palliative care is a specialized medical model for people living with a serious, chronic or life-limiting illness. It focuses on providing the necessary medical, emotional and spiritual support to help relieve symptoms and stress, with the goal to improve quality of life for both the resident and their loved ones. Administered by a trained team of doctors, nurses and specialists, palliative care often accompanies curative treatment.
