Agemark Senior Living Acquires Omaha Community, Plans $1.25M Investment

August 9, 2026

OMAHA, Neb. — Agemark Senior Living has acquired Esprit Whispering Ridge, an assisted living and memory care community in Omaha, marking the first acquisition completed through the company’s new investment partnership with an institutional private equity investor.

The acquisition became effective July 31. The community will be renamed The Bellflower at Whispering Ridge and will offer independent living, assisted living, Assisted Living Plus and memory care.

The addition expands Agemark’s Omaha-area portfolio to five communities totaling more than 450 units.

Agemark and its investment partner plan to invest approximately $1.25 million in capital improvements at the community. Planned work includes renovations to common areas and resident corridors as well as updates to furniture, fixtures and equipment.

The acquisition is the first completed through Agemark’s new investment partnership, according to the company.

Michael Pittore and Forrest Westin, co-CEOs of Agemark Senior Living, said the acquisition is significant in part because it expands the company’s presence in Omaha, where Agemark maintains one of its corporate offices.

Agemark owns and operates 28 senior living communities under 12 brands across six states. Its communities offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and respite care services. In addition to Omaha, the company also has corporate offices in Orinda, Calif.
