JOHNSTOWN, PA–AmeriServ Financial Bank is helping to provide safe and secure living environments for seniors in the communities it serves by funding two local Senior Crimestoppers Programs. In conjunction with CRA Partners, the bank came forward to help vulnerable seniors by funding this program that protects those who live and work in local care facilities.
“Crime against the elderly in our society is a growing concern but can be reduced and prevented through programs like these. AmeriServ believes in this worthwhile cause and is proud to partner with Crimestoppers and CRA Partners to provide funding to non-profit organizations when possible. We’re a community bank and we have vested interest in the safety of our neighbors,” Michael Lynch, AmeriServ chief financial officer, said.
