GEORGETOWN, TX—The Hacienda at Georgetown, a luxury senior living community by Watermark Communities in the suburban Austin region, has welcomed seasoned health care professional Annika DiNovi as its new executive director. DiNovi joins Watermark Communities with nearly 15 years of experience in the luxury senior living housing and health care industries, most recently serving as regional director of operations at Transforming Age in Washington state. In this new role, DiNovi brings her rich expertise to the Georgetown community to ensure residents’ well-being and a higher level of hospitality.

“Annika has expert knowledge on how to efficiently operate a luxury senior living community and execute a premier lifestyle experience. She embodies the spirit of Watermark, which she shares everyday with our residents and staff,” stated David Freshwater, chairman of Watermark Retirement Communities. “The excitement around The Hacienda at Georgetown has only just begun with the introduction of Annika and the upcoming community opening.”

The Hacienda at Georgetown is opening with 231 spacious and modern studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom residences for independent living, assisted living and memory care.  The open floor plan units boast designer kitchenettes, oversized windows and locally-sourced region-reflecting building materials like natural stone and wood. As executive director, DiNovi will be overseeing The Hacienda at Georgetown’s opening, including the five upscale dining options led by award-winning chef Stephan Pyles, including Chef Pyles’ signature public-facing restaurant, Alma.

“My goal as the executive director at The Hacienda at Georgetown is to foster an environment where our residents love to live, but just as importantly, where [our] associates love to work,” said DiNovi. “My passion to provide the most complete care for seniors and create extraordinary communities comes from the time I spent with my grandfather, who lived independently in a retirement community until the age of 101.”

DiNovi holds a BA in psychology and an MA in counseling psychology. She is a native of Seattle, Washington, and is excited to explore Georgetown. In her free time, DiNovi enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever, Apollo.
