June 1, 2022

DENVER, CO—Anthology Senior Living is excited to announce the development of two new senior living communities in Austin and Dallas that will include a total of 251 residences. Once these projects are complete, Anthology Senior Living will have a total of six communities in Texas.

Anthology of The Arboretum, located on 2.1 acres in Austin, Texas, will offer assisted living and memory care options. The 131,000 square foot new development is located between The Arboretum and The Domain, two major retail centers that include many high-end shops and restaurants. The five-story building will feature 130 spacious apartments in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations. Amenities will include a salon, multiple dining rooms to enjoy gourmet meals, a fitness center, a discovery room, a theater, a clubhouse and a bar/bistro.

Anthology of Highland Park, situated three miles north of downtown Dallas, will offer 121 apartments with assisted living and memory care options. Nestled within the Highland Park neighborhood, the 144,000 square foot community is within three miles of UT Southwestern Medical Center and within a mile of the Knox Street retail corridor. The 11-story building will feature 97 assisted living units and 24 memory care units, available in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations. Planned amenities include a theater, a library, a pub with a fireplace, a fitness center, a salon, various dining spots and three terraces.

“We’re proud to bring this incredible new lifestyle option to seniors in the Dallas and Austin areas—one that not only celebrates their social energy, but also their intellectual spirit, all in a beautiful and engaging atmosphere,” said Michael Berman, president of Anthology Senior Living.

Anthology focuses on providing unique, luxurious and thoughtful amenities that promote and enhance resident engagement. With a variety of dining options, entertainment spaces, wellness spaces and community rooms, these communities will offer an abundance of opportunities to explore interests, improve health and increase engagement. Each community will feature Anthology’s signature Virtue Memory Care Neighborhood, which is designed to help residents thrive in mind, body and spirit. Curated artwork features local landmarks and nostalgic images to evoke feelings of home, memory displays outside each personal suite feature personal photos and mementos to provide familiarity and the dining experience is designed for familiarity by featuring favorite foods served with an appealing flair.

Anthology of The Arboretum and Anthology of Highland Park are being constructed by Cadence McShane, a highly experienced provider of general construction, design-build and construction management in Texas. Construction of the communities is expected to be completed in late spring of 2023.
