CareView Communications, Inc. Executes Group Purchasing Agreement With HealthTrust

LEWISVILLE, TX–CareView Communications, Inc. (“CareView” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: CRVW), an information technology provider to the healthcare industry, today announced the execution of a group purchasing agreement with HealthTrust, the nation’s only committed-model GPO. The agreement is effective immediately and pertains to all components of CareView’s video monitoring, archival and patient care documentation systems, and patient entertainment services available for purchase by participating members of HealthTrust.

The Company’s CareView System® provides a full complement of clinical and patient monitoring services for a variety of healthcare facilities. Two primary modules include the Sitter Management Program and the Fall Management Program. The Sitter Management Program allows the monitoring of multiple of patient rooms from one nursing station or mobile device which reduces sitter costs while increasing patient safety. The Fall Management Program, working in tandem with Virtual Bed Rails™ and Virtual Chair Rails,™ uses motion detection software to alert caregivers to patients who are at risk for falling or who require a heightened level of visibility.

All CareView System components and modules are available for purchase by HealthTrust’s exclusive membership including 1,600 acute care facilities and more than 26,000 health facility locations. HealthTrust members may order CareView’s products and services included in the agreement directly from CareView.
