LOUISVILLE, KY–Creative Strategies, one of the original innovators of electronic medication, treatment, and care administration (eMAR plus) solutions to optimize and error proof the shared business process between caregivers, pharmacists, and residents in the senior care and senior living markets, has completed a recapitalization of its business.
"This recapitalization is very positive news for the company, our customers, suppliers, business partners, and employees," says John Carroll, President and Founder of Creative Strategies. "Not only will the capital infusion help facilitate our growth plan, but having Bruce Lunsford join our team as Chairman of the Board gives us the proven healthcare leadership needed to take full advantage of the sizeable opportunity in the senior marketplace."
Creative Strategies will use the growth capital to accelerate development of the company's unique offerings in the senior care, senior living, and home health care markets. The funding will also enable the company to strengthen and scale its sales, marketing, and service capabilities to create rapid growth while maintaining its industry leading reputation for service quality.
"What first attracted me to Creative Strategies was John Carroll's entrepreneurial spirit. John has been very creative in how he has built a successful company, especially in a market where I see tremendous growth potential," stated lead investor Bruce Lunsford of Lunsford Capital LLC. "With the senior population expected to nearly double over the next twenty years, there is a great challenge to provide affordable healthcare that also respects the quality of care this population deserves. I feel Creative Strategies has the solutions and team to tackle this challenge."
Creative Strategies has also been fortunate to bring on John Humphreys as SVP of Sales and Marketing. "Creative Strategies has proven there's a better way to manage point of care delivery of medications and care tasks to optimize caregiver and pharmacist workflow, which lowers costs while also ensuring the highest levels of resident care," said John Humphreys. "We have outstanding employees and a strong management team which leads to my confidence that we are poised to increase our presence in the senior markets."
