Crest Pointe Celebrates Lifetime Achievement of CNA Alveta Roberts

November 3, 2021

For 45 years – and with no signs of slowing down – Alveta Roberts, a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at Crest Pointe Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, has provided loving care to the residents of the Point Pleasant, skilled nursing facility.

To honor this lifetime achievement and thank the dedicated CNA and Neptune Township resident, the Crest Pointe team surprised Roberts with a fun-filled celebration that included a visit from Point Pleasant Mayor Robert Sabosik (pictured here with Roberts).

“Alveta is highly respected by our entire team for her professionalism, and our residents absolutely love her; she always has a smile on her face,” said Crest Pointe’s Loretta Shopene, director of community relations. “Former colleagues came from far and wide to be part of the surprise party – that’s a testament to the truly amazing person she is.”

During the party, Mayor Sabosik presented Roberts with a Proclamation, and Crest Pointe gave her an engraved plaque and a special gift for her years of service. Crest Pointe’s dining room was awash in pink and purple, Roberts’ favorite colors, including an oversized “45” numbered balloon and beautiful flowers. Attendees delighted in surprising their beloved colleague and enjoyed cake and chocolate lollipops hand made by a fellow staff member.

“Everyone here at Crest Pointe is family to me,” said Roberts. “I can’t thank them enough and couldn’t stop smiling that day. It was very special.”

Located at 1515 Hulse Road, the 118-bed Crest Pointe provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
