December 14, 2021

The Courtyards at Mountain View is welcoming Michael James Flores as its new Memory Care Director, a brand new position for the senior living community.

Michael James Flores

Michael comes to The Courtyards with extensive experience in senior living and has been in the industry since 2012. He was most recently the resident care coordinator at a Brookdale property and before that, a memory care program coordinator for several years.

“My goal is to continue to provide a positive environment for all residents and employees,” said Michael. “It is an honor to be on this team and serve the people who call The Courtyards at Mountain View home.”

Located at 8101 E Mississippi Ave., the community’s opening date for memory care services will be revealed in the coming days. Individuals who require memory care thrive in a secure and consistent environment with specialized attention from associates as well as participation in active day-to-day schedules.

Operator Pegasus Senior Living’s signature programming Connections meets all of these needs with its data-based and evidence-based structure, all led by Dr. Sandra Petersen, Pegasus’ Senior Health and Wellness Consultant, who specializes in neuroplasticity techniques.

Tours will be available for families looking into memory care senior housing in Denver while following COVID-19 safety guidelines. Media interviews are also available with Michael or Dr. Petersen.
