
Edgehill Named to U.S. News & World Report Best Senior Living List

STAMFORD, Conn. — Edgehill, a Benchmark Senior Living continuing care retirement community in Stamford, Conn., has been named to U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Senior Living list.
The community received “Best” honors in continuing care retirement community and independent living. Benchmark said Edgehill has received “Best” honors in the continuing care retirement community category for four consecutive years and in independent living for five consecutive years.
U.S. News & World Report’s Best Senior Living ratings are based on survey data from residents and family members at senior living communities across the country.

I’m honored to work beside such dedicated individuals who go above and beyond to nurture the wellbeing and enrich the lives of our residents,” said Chris Cilano, campus executive director of Edgehill. “This recognition is a reflection of our associates’ heartfelt commitment and the genuine care they bring to every moment.”
Edgehill offers independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation. The community has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for Best Short-Term Rehabilitation for seven consecutive years and for Best Long-Term Care for more than three years, according to Benchmark.
Edgehill is part of Benchmark Senior Living. In the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Senior Living ratings, 41 Benchmark communities received a total of 60 awards, according to the company.
