Efftec International Expands Partnership with Saber Healthcare Group in Support of Telemedicine

February 7, 2019

LAS VEGAS–Efftec International, Inc. (USOTC:  EFFI) and its wholly-owned subsidiary TeleCare Partners Group announce their continued partnership with Saber Healthcare Group in support of that company’s telemedicine program expansion.

Through year-end 2018, TeleCare Partners Group provided telemedicine equipment, onboarding, and ongoing support services to 76 skilled nursing facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and Indiana. In this next phase, TeleCare Partners Group will continue support of Saber and its “Transitional Care Model” by providing enhanced services and equipment to an additional 12 selected facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Saber facilities use telemedicine for a patient change in condition on nights, weekends, and holidays when physicians are typically not in the facility.  Telemedicine is also utilized by Saber facilities when a patient’s physician cannot be reached, or should the patient’s physician request a second opinion.

Through TeleCare Partners Group’s hallmark approach to customization, Saber continues to enhance its telemedicine program with specialized features including remote access to much-needed psychiatric services via telehealth to patients in need who are in rural areas, where those services historically are not available. Additionally, selected strategic partners have been incorporated into Saber’s telemedicine platform with the goal of increasing “real time” patient care 24/7/365.

Saber Healthcare Group, LLC owns and operates skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities to deliver long-term care, assisted living, memory care, personal care, and home health services. The company is a pioneer in applying healthcare technologies and knowledge-sharing platforms to serve the needs of residents, patients and their families. Established in 2001, the Bedford Heights-based company has grown from two skilled nursing facilities to more than 105 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities spanning Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Delaware, and Indiana.

Efftec International, Inc. (EFFI: OTC) is a holding company for a leading national professional services firm providing a broad range of virtual on-demand healthcare and technology solutions. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, TeleCare Partners Group, designs and delivers customized programs aimed at increasing productivity, containing cost, and enhancing the quality of medical encounters.
