Kendal Promotes Angela Rafine to Director of Human Resources Operations

NEWARK, Del. — The Kendal Corporation has promoted Angela Rafine to director of human resources operations.
In the expanded role, Rafine will lead human resources initiatives across the Kendal system and oversee daily HR functions, including HRIS administration, payroll support, process management and compliance.
Rafine has been with Kendal for nearly nine years. She began at Barclay Friends, a Kendal affiliate, before moving to The Kendal Corporation team. She has more than a decade of experience leading human resources functions.
“Throughout her tenure, at both a Kendal Affiliate and for The Kendal Corporation, Angela has developed deep system knowledge and brings a wealth of experience and historical perspective that will be invaluable in this expanded role,” said Deb McCardell, senior director of human resources for The Kendal Corporation. “This added capacity is one that we believe is essential to our success as we continue to manage both existing responsibilities and future initiatives.”
Rafine said her new role will focus on supporting employee teams across Kendal.
“I am honored to step into this role, supporting the dedicated employee teams across the nationwide system that serves Kendal residents and Kendal at Home members. I am committed to helping support a culture where teams feel valued and supported,” Rafine said.
Rafine is a Kendal Leadership Fellows alumnus.
Kendal is an aging services organization built on Quaker principles. The organization includes communities, programs and at-home services for older adults.
