QUEENS, NY–Little Neck Care Center, a boutique, post-acute nursing and rehabilitation facility, has earned the highest rating possible from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The five-star overall rating indicates that Little Neck Care Center is considered to have above average quality and nursing at their facility.

CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System was created to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and to help identify areas for questions about the care and facility.

“We are pleased to have received a five-star overall quality rating from CMS,” says Eric Mendel, CEO of Avenir Healthcare Group. “At Little Neck, there is a high standard for excellence and a commitment for putting people first. Our philosophy of people, not just patients ensures that we are sensitive to the needs of our residents and their families.”
