Mainstay Financial Acquires Two Georgia Senior Living Communities
October 21, 2026
COLUMBUS AND LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Mainstay Financial has acquired two Georgia senior living communities totaling 78 units, expanding its senior housing portfolio to 54 communities and 3,438 units under management.
The transaction, which closed Sept. 30, includes Ansley Cove Columbus, a 30-unit memory care community in Columbus, and Ansley Court Lawrenceville, a 48-unit assisted living and memory care community in Lawrenceville.
Both properties are operated by Mainstay Senior Living, the senior housing operating company owned by Mainstay Financial.
The company says the acquisitions expand Mainstay’s presence in Georgia and align with its strategy of investing in existing communities through direct operational oversight and property improvements.
“Our operating experience informs where we invest, and our investment decisions must support the people delivering care,” said Tod Petty, chief investment officer of Mainstay Financial and Mainstay Senior Living. “These acquisitions give us the opportunity to strengthen established communities, support their teams, and build long-term value for residents, families, and investors.”
Mike Garbers of Berkadia brokered the transaction. The seller and purchase price were not disclosed.
