ON THE MOVE: Recent Personnel Moves in Senior Living

Benchmark at Mount Pleasant, an assisted-living-with-memory-care community coming this fall to Westchester County, New York, has appointed Sara Humphreys executive director.

Ellie Shiveley has joined the TerraBella Senior Living team as division director of culinary services; she has been serving as the area director of culinary services.

Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Bergen County, New Jersey, has added wound-care specialist Saraswati Dayal, MD, FACS, to its clinical team; the 215-bed skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab, and long-term residential care.

Emerald Communities appointed Denis Wells as its new corporate controller; she comes to Emerald Communities after working as corporate controller at a non-profit hospital in Oklahoma.

Bellara Senior Living, a new senior living community east of San Francisco, welcomed Jeff Jhunell Sumabat as executive director; part of the Integral Senior Living portfolio, Bellara offers independent living, assisted living and memory care; Sumabat has held roles as a resident services director, memory care director, executive director and, most recently, regional operations specialist.

The Kendal Corporation has appointed Jennifer Karsten governance advisor; she has extensive experience, including executive directorships, board memberships, and strategic consultation.

The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Freehold, New Jersey, welcomed Alisa Pavlovsky as the new liaison for its cultural program for Russian-speaking residents.

Mia Credle has joined Solstice Senior Living as divisional sales specialist — south division; most recently, she served as divisional director of sales and marketing at Sagora Senior Living.
