Oxford Introduces Clinical Concierge Program with Strategic Hire of Amanda Miller, LPN

July 27, 2022

LANGHORNE, PA—Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Langhorne has introduced a clinical concierge program, welcoming Amanda Miller, LPN, as its nurse concierge. Located at 300 E. Winchester Ave., the skilled nursing facility—which is part of Oxford Enhanced Senior Living—provides post-hospital, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

The new program focuses on pairing clinical excellence with enhanced communication and support for residents and their families. It is designed to facilitate seamless flow of information among residents, their caregivers and the facility’s nursing and medical staff. As the nurse concierge, Miller assists in education on specific medical conditions and medications. She also liaises with residents’ caregivers and provides regular updates—including changes in condition—and answers any questions they may have.

“I take great pride in caring for residents and their families, and I love interacting with them,” said Miller. “I am here to assist them with questions and communicate with our talented team at Oxford. This further enables us to provide excellence in care during their stay and also follow up after a discharge to ensure the transition home is going well.”

Miller brings significant experience to the role, having previously worked as a long-term care nurse for eight years and as a certified nursing assistant and medical technician on a dementia unit. She earned her LPN at the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology. “For me, the urge to help started very young; I’m from a big family and always knew that I wanted to be a nurse,” she said.

Oxford developed the new program with Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports the facility. “Oxford’s clinical concierge program is one-of-a-kind in the area,” said Danielle Koons, Marquis’ regional director of market development. “Amanda’s nursing skillset, enthusiasm and dedication to patient care and advocacy are perfect for this expanded role. She’s a joy for the team there to work with, and the ideal fit as the facility’s nurse concierge.”

Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center maintains a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Its clinical concierge program introduction comes on the heels of an ownership change at the skilled nursing facility and the recent appointment of Tej Kokroo, MD, MBA, as medical director. A significant upgrade is planned at the facility.

Spanning 18 acres, Oxford Enhanced Senior Living also includes Oxford Crossings, a personal care component featuring a memory care unit and independent living apartments. Together, the facilities offer 415 skilled nursing and personal care units.

Based in Brick, New Jersey, Marquis Health Consulting Services is a highly-skilled and vision-driven nursing home consulting company currently supporting Mid-Atlantic and New England facilities, totaling approximately 6,000 skilled nursing and assisted living beds.
