Prestige Care Acquires Campbell-Owned Senior Living Communities In Washington And Idaho

September 16, 2016

VANCOUVER, WA–Prestige Care, a leader in senior living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation care, today announced an agreement to acquire four Washington and Idaho communities owned by senior living industry pioneer Carl Campbell. The acquisition, effective this fall, expands Prestige Care’s presence in local regions where the Campbell properties are serving community needs.

Prestige will assume ownership and management of independent and assisted living communities and skilled nursing centers in four locations, including:

•Wenatchee, WA: An independent and assisted living community, plus a skilled nursing center
•East Wenatchee, WA:  An independent and assisted living community
•Ellensburg, WA: An independent and assisted living community
•Nampa, ID: An independent and assisted living community, plus a skilled nursing center

“Welcoming these Campbell communities into our Prestige family is both an honor and a wonderful fit for our organization’s values-driven approach to quality care and service for seniors and their families,” said Harold Delamarter, founding partner and CEO of Prestige Care. “Mr. Campbell has had a profound impact on this industry and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing his legacy as we work to enrich the lives of our new community members.”

The two organizations share a rich history, values system and culture that stem from a strong family-centered foundation, rooted in local tradition and hospitality. The newly acquired Prestige communities will be dedicated to providing the safest, high-quality assisted living, independent living, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation services that Campbell residents and their families have come to expect over the last 60 years.

“When I began this journey into the senior living industry, I never imagined our organization would grow in to what it is today and touch so many families across the Northwest,” Carl Campbell said. “Over the years, Campbell communities have earned positive reputations for the care and service we share with our residents – treating them as if they were members of our own family. I have complete confidence that Prestige will carry on that tradition and uphold the values we share as caregivers.”

As part of the transition to Prestige ownership, the four campuses will become:
•Wenatchee, Wash.: ◦Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista (independent and assisted living)
◦Colonial Vista Post-Acute & Rehabilitation Center (skilled nursing)

•East Wenatchee, Wash.: ◦Prestige Senior Living at East Wenatchee (independent and assisted living)

•Ellensburg, Wash.: ◦Prestige Senior Living at Hearthstone (independent and assisted living)

•Nampa, Idaho: ◦Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates (independent and assisted living)
◦Karcher Post-Acute & Rehabilitation Center (skilled nursing)

The organization plans to introduce its innovative programs and services at select centers and communities to complement the positive experience current residents and patients know and expect from their care providers.

One of the programs Prestige plans to introduce is Celebrations, a wellness and life fulfillment offering designed to empower residents to live a healthy, active and happy lifestyle, while seeking to improve their overall well-being.

Through Celebrations, residents find activities and events that allow them to engage with their peers and family, explore their creativity, reinvigorate the spirit and relax within an active community-based setting.
