Proveer Senior Living Welcomes Another Alabama Assisted Living Community

McKINNEY, TX — Proveer Senior Living has acquired the Vitality Living Regency community in Mobile, Alabama, marking Proveer’s eighth overall acquisition, its fifth in the state, and its second in Mobile. Proveer’s business model is a value-add strategy that includes purchasing communities, renovating the buildings, and rebranding them under the Proveer flag.

The 90-unit community in Mobile — 70 assisted-living units and 20 memory-care units — has been renamed Proveer at Port City, and with the new name comes a comprehensive renovation to be completed by the end of 2023. The interior will be updated with new flooring, fresh colors, furniture, and fixtures, and the exterior will receive a complete makeover. An upgraded technology platform is also planned.

Proveer at Port City now joins Proveer at Heritage Woods as the second Proveer community in the Mobile market. Mobile is home to the University of South Alabama, and it has an international port that services ocean-going vessels from around the world. The city has seen rapid growth over the past decade, and the unmet demand for seniors housing in the market is significant.
