Puget Sound Business Journal Names Leisure Care’s Bre Grubbs a “40 Under 40” Honoree

September 11, 2019

SEATTLE–Leisure Care’s Bre Grubbs has been named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” honorees.

The Puget Sound Business Journal recognizes 40 people under 40 years old from a variety of industries around the Puget Sound region who are taking their careers to the next level while positively influencing and shaping the Puget Sound area.

Grubbs started at Leisure Care in 2001 as a marketing intern. After a short stint away, she returned as a sales advisor in 2005, quickly rising within the company to Partner and Senior Vice President of New Business. With Grubbs’ oversight, Leisure Care’s new development has been growing extensively, with 10 new communities set to open in 2019, among them, Murano Senior Living, a 24-story luxury high-rise in Seattle.

“We are so excited for Bre. She has accomplished so much during her career here at Leisure Care,” said Leisure Care CEO Dan Madsen. “Not only is she always learning, but she has a tremendous positive impact on all the people she comes in contact with, and she does it all with a sense of humor and sophistication.”

Grubbs will share the spotlight with her fellow honorees at a special annual luncheon in Seattle on September 27th and be profiled in the Puget Sound Business Journal the same day. She was also recognized as one of the 2019 Rising Stars in McKnight’s Women of Distinction program.

Founded in 1976, Leisure Care, LLC is one of the largest privately owned and most innovative operators of senior living communities in the United States, operating 50 retirement communities and nearly 8,000 apartments across the country.
