Rose Tree Place Residents to Enjoy High Tea and Period Costumes

June 15, 2023

MEDIA, PA — On June 15th, Rose Tree Place, a Watermark Retirement Community® near Philadelphia, will transport residents back in time and to the English countryside with a luxurious English high tea. Throughout the experience, residents will get a masterclass in etiquette while sampling a variety of teas and goodies using antique fine china, courtesy of local tea specialist Emma Rose.

Eve and Anthony Mountford of Liverpool, England, two of Rose Tree Place’s residents, are excited to see an American take on British tradition and share about their own high tea preferences. Residents will learn about the history of English teatime and dress in period costumes at this classic high tea event.

A privately held company based in Tucson, AZ, with over 30 years of service, Watermark manages more than 65 retirement communities coast to coast. It has been named in the top 25 Best Workplaces for Aging Services in a national program conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute and published in Fortune, and it is ranked as the nation’s 10th-leading senior housing operator by the American Seniors Housing Association. Its award-winning Watermark University features a wide variety of engaging classes for residents and area seniors.
