Seasons Retirement Communities celebrates its 10th anniversary

February 21, 2019

OAKVILLE, ON–Seasons Retirement Communities is proud to celebrate its tenth anniversary of changing lives with celebrations across the organization. Since its beginning in 2009, the company has grown an impressive three times its original size since the 2009 inception, with 21 locations in Ontario and Alberta, employing over 1,490 individuals.

Thought leaders Chief Executive Officer Mike Lavallée and Chief Operating Officer LeighAnne Voll recognized the demand for high-quality senior living accommodations and responded to the growth of the market, building retirement communities in smaller towns and cities.

“Seasons is proud of its ten-year track record of growth and sustained profitability while delivering quality care and service to our residents,” said Lavallée. “At the same time, we are forward-focused on this next decade and have significant plans to deliver additional value to our residents and innovation to the senior living sector.”

In celebration of embarking on its second decade of business, all Seasons Retirement Communities in Ontario and Alberta will celebrate throughout 2019 with parties, giveaways and exclusive contests. Seasons will also launch several promotional and informational initiatives throughout the year in support of the tenth anniversary.

“Seasons has undergone tremendous transformations in the past 10 years. We’ve seen an immense change in the needs of seniors and our business model has evolved to meet those needs,” said Lavallée. “What hasn’t changed is our residents’ requirement that we deliver on our promises and do so with exceptional customer service. This has been the primary driver of our success in the first ten years, and it will continue to be in the next ten years and beyond.”

Established in 2009, Seasons is a Canadian company that operates 11 retirement residences in Ontario, nine retirement residences in Alberta, with more in various stages of development. Its management team has extensive experience in the senior housing sector.
