Solvere Living Appoints Two Senior Staff with Decades of Experience

ST. PETERSBURG, FL–Solvere Living has expanded its senior staff to support its continued growth and new contracts. The operations division of St. Petersburg, Florida-based Solutions Advisors Group (SAG), Solvere Living has appointed Jack McCarthy as executive vice president and Jamie Holiefield as vice president of the eastern region, both bringing decades of experience in senior living.
Working in the industry for 23 years, McCarthy is responsible for leading efforts to strategically grow the Solvere Living operating platform to balance third party management, as well as to oversee equity earn-in and acquisition opportunities. He leads the process for identifying and fully vetting potential acquisitions of senior housing properties, as well as uncovering, negotiating and closing strategic equity and debt partnerships.
McCarthy is also in charge of assembling a Solvere Living board of directors, as well as participating in the executive and leadership teams for Solutions Advisors Group. He is based in the St. Petersburg office.
McCarthy served as senior vice president of sales and marketing and chief operating officer for Benchmark Assisted Living from 2000 to 2010. He led company growth from a start-up to 44 communities in seven states, and developed a sales and operating team that became among the most innovative, effective and successful in the industry. In 2010 he founded Revenue Leverage, LLC, a senior housing consulting firm focusing on working with owners and investors to diagnosis and correct underperforming assets. In 2014 he served as senior vice president of senior housing real estate for WMD Asset Management, LLC.
McCarthy has been an executive committee board member of Massachusetts Argentum, which is the state affiliate of national Argentum; an executive roundtable member of Argentum; national speaker at ASHA, NIC and Argentum; moderator and trainer for Massachusetts Argentum and National Argentum and on the faculty for The Erickson School for Senior Housing Operations at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He resides in Holliston, MA.
Jamie Holiefield brings more than 22 years of sales and operations experience in the senior living and healthcare industries and has managed both new development projects as well as acquisitions. She oversees and directs all operating components of Solvere Living-managed communities in the eastern region and is responsible for managing team members, budget, occupancy, regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.
Holiefield most recently served as regional director of operations for Harbor Retirement Associates and previously worked in various community and corporate roles, including executive director and senior vice president of business development and acute regional facility administrator for DaVita, Inc. From 2003 to 2007 she was senior executive director for Benchmark Assisted Living and Senior Living Residences.
Holiefield has won multiple awards, including Benchmark’s coveted Chairman’s Cup award for overall financial performance, customer and associate satisfaction and quality of care. She also received the HHHunt Spirit of Assisted Living Award for outstanding attitude and customer service. In addition, Holiefield has served on the board of directors for the Florida Senior Living Association and has facilitated multiple leadership training experiences across the eastern United States. Holiefield is also based in the St. Petersburg office and resides in Oviedo, FL

Solvere Living has recently been contracted to operate six additional senior living communities, an under-construction community in Tampa, FL, an existing community in Baltimore, MD, and four existing communities in Texas. The division currently operates 12 communities in seven states, including Florida, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Maryland, Virginia and Oklahoma.
