The Legacy Willow Bend Hosts “Supporting Our Parents Well” Event

PLANO, TX — The Legacy Willow Bend recently hosted caregivers and those with aging parents at “Supporting Our Parents Well,” a unique event offering two opportunities to enjoy exceptional food and hospitality during a short but informative presentation. The event, according to a press release, focused on equipping attendees with helpful, and sometimes critical, information when supporting or caring for aging parents and loved ones as they navigate the aging journey.

Attendees had the option of coming for a luncheon or an evening gathering, both of which included a chef-prepared meal.

Dana Smith, chief marketing officer at The Legacy Senior Communities, spoke at the event on topics such as reviewing essential documents for those 65 and older; understanding levels of care and living options for seniors; emergency room visits and what to do next; and aging well and what to start doing today.
