Tim Minks Named Executive Director of The Springs at Lake Oswego

The Springs Living, a senior living company that provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care services in Oregon and Montana, has announced that Tim Minks is the new executive director for The Springs at Lake Oswego in Lake Oswego, Oregon. In this role, Minks oversees all aspects of the community which is home to over 200 older adults and provides approximately 150 local jobs. The Springs at Lake Oswego opened in January 2020.

“The Springs at Lake Oswego is a unique community and we knew that we were searching for a special leader,” said Brenda Connelly, chief operating officer of The Springs Living. “In Tim’s previous role as executive director at another Springs community, he has demonstrated successful outcomes, including building strong teams and creating consistent quality service for residents, making him a perfect fit for this role.”

Previously, as the executive director of The Springs at Wilsonville in Oregon, Minks oversaw all aspects of the community’s operations providing assisted living and memory care services. Prior to joining The Springs Living, Minks served as a regional director of operations and executive director for Avamere Family of Companies in Oregon. His extensive experience in senior living also includes working as an administrator and community outreach specialist for Signature Healthcare at Home in Oregon. He is a long-time volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association and Gifted Wishes, a nonprofit organization benefiting hospice patients. Minks has a bachelor’s degree in community health education from Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon.
