Upscale Senior Living Community Coming to Yorktown Breaks Ground

October 24, 2022

TALLAHASSEE, FL—SRI Management LLC, in conjunction with ownership partners Sage Development and Bourne Financial Group, recently broke ground on Harper’s Station Yorktown, an upscale senior living community coming to York County on the much-desired Virginia peninsula. Bringing 158 living options—from independent and assisted living apartments to state-of-the-art memory care units—the new community meets the high demand for senior care living in the area. SRI Management—a company noted in the industry for its level of dedicated service, value and resident care—will manage the new community once opened.

“In collaboration with Sage Development and Bourne Financial, we are happy to be establishing a strong presence in Virginia with the addition of this community,” said Don Bishop, CEO of SRI Management. “This community is the second one we are bringing to the state, [having] recently opening another Harper’s Station in Gainesville. Today, we are thrilled to share a glimpse of what is to come to Yorktown—an upscale, resort-style environment meeting all the different needs of seniors in this area.”

The impressive new community will span 161,000 square feet. Amenities at Harper’s Station encompass SRI Management programming, including Artful Dining, which is a research-backed culinary concept designed to keep seniors engaged in the social and health benefits of proper nutrition. SRI’s Zestful Activities provides an abundance of options to keep residents physically and socially active, while the signature Heartful Care program creates comfort and security for residents in their new homes.

Once open, Harper’s Station Yorktown will add approximately 75 employment opportunities for local residents, infusing more than $2.5 million in annual salary and wages into the York County region.
