Kendal on Hudson Awards Nursing Scholarships

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. — Kendal on Hudson awarded $1,500 scholarships to 10 students pursuing nursing careers, including two Sleepy Hollow High School seniors and eight Pace University students.

The high school recipients are Melanie Carchi and Mirianny S. Beltre Bobea. Pace University recipients are Yaruska Cruz, Calya Cummings, Eli Manela, Nicole O’Grady, Stacey Rickets, Meili Sicard, Nicholas Silva and Carlos Tasama.

Since launching the scholarship program, Kendal on Hudson has awarded $24,000 to 26 Sleepy Hollow High School seniors and $27,000 to 23 Pace University nursing students for studies in nursing, gerontology, mental health and related fields.

Located in Sleepy Hollow, Kendal on Hudson is a Life Plan Community with on-site health care.
