Artis Senior Living Names Julianne Ramia Executive Director in Branford

BRANFORD, Conn. — Artis Senior Living has named Julianne Ramia executive director of Artis Senior Living of Branford.
Ramia will oversee the community’s care, operations and programming. She brings more than 11 years of senior living experience to the position.
She previously served as a dementia specialist for Hartford Healthcare Center for Healthy Aging in Bridgeport, Conn., and as executive director of The Hearth at Tuxis Pond in Madison, Conn.
Ramia earned a B.A. in gerontology from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Conn. She is a certified dementia practitioner and an affiliated trainer for the National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia.
“I have always been passionate about supporting individuals living with dementia and their families throughout their journey,” Ramia said. “I believe that our philosophy of meeting each person where they are in their journey and enhancing their experience directly aligns with my values.”
Artis Senior Living of Branford is located at 814 E. Main St. in Branford.
