Bridges® By EPOCH at Westford Names Laushine Executive Director

WESTFORD, MA — Bridges® by EPOCH at Westford has promoted Abbi Laushine to Executive Director of the memory care/assisted living community. She will direct the community’s overall operations.

Laushine has worked with EPOCH Senior Living communities for more than a decade, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant; she has served several different roles, including Life Enrichment Director and, most recently, Program Director at Waterstone on High Ridge in Stamford, Connecticut, where she managed programming and team members’ training. She and her team recently achieved the Purple Flag for Dementia Care™ accreditation for the community through Connecticut Assisted Living Association.

“Throughout Abbi’s career, she’s been able to garner the trust of our residents and their loved ones,” stated Alicia Seaver, Vice President of Memory Care Operations for EPOCH Senior Living. “She’s dedicated to supporting EPOCH Senior Living and the residents we serve. It’s been wonderful to see her grow within our company these last 10 years, and we look forward to seeing her continue to thrive in her new role as Executive Director.”

“I have a passion and knowledge for the work being done at Bridges® by EPOCH at Westford and in the overall memory care field,” Laushine said in a press release. “I am dedicated to helping families find the best course of action when it comes to memory care, and I look forward to supporting and advancing EPOCH Senior Living’s mission.”

Laushine holds several memory care accreditations, including being certified as a Dementia Practitioner®; she also holds certifications in Alzheimer’s, personal care, and hospice training.

Bridges® by EPOCH at Westford delivers highly specialized memory care assisted living for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
