Certus Living Receives U.S. Trademark for Live Life by Design

Certus Living has received a U.S. trademark for Live Life by Design, its wellness and lifestyle program for residents in independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.

The company says the program is designed to focus on residents’ physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being through fitness, nutrition, social engagement, health care preferences, education, volunteerism and spiritual activities.

“Residents in our communities live vibrant lives, embracing connection, wellness and opportunities for continued growth,” said Will Haase, CEO and founder of Certus Living. “Seniors can and should live lives full of purpose, rather than simply managing the challenges associated with aging.”

Live Life by Design includes two program components: Elevate Wellness and Vitalize Memory Care.

Elevate Wellness focuses on a healthy body, mind and spirit. Its offerings include fitness classes, strength and balance programs, nutritional support, educational programs, yoga, tai chi, volunteer opportunities, life coaching, social activities and spiritual programming.

Vitalize Memory Care is designed for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The program focuses on care, community and purpose through community design, sensory stations, memory cues, staff training, community partnerships, dining experiences and knowledge of residents’ personal histories.

“This trademark validates our commitment to innovation in senior living,” Haase said.
