Chontey Joins Kendal at Ithaca as Director of Marketing and Community Relations

ITHACA, NY — Kendal at Ithaca has named Danielle (Dani) Chontey as its new director of marketing and community relations. Chontey brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing, operations, and leadership for a local non-profit cooperative to the position.
“I’m excited to welcome Dani to the Kendal at Ithaca family,” said CEO Laurie Mante in a press release. “Dani’s work experience and familiarity with our mission will serve us well as she builds on the marketing department’s successes and helps us prepare to meet the needs of future residents.”
“I am delighted to continue my career with Kendal at Ithaca,” Chontey stated. “Working together with a committed marketing team and other devoted colleagues, I look forward to promoting the many wonderful aspects of Kendal at Ithaca to prospective residents and the wider community.”
Chontey previously served as a volunteer for Kendal at Ithaca through the Cornell Companions program. She joins the community following the retirement of Betsy Schermerhorn, who led the marketing department for more than 17 years.
